American Legion Mandarin "Fallen Heroes" Post 372

Serving Veterans Since 1919

Our Post purchased property on Old St. Augustine Road earlier this year to establish our Post home, and were required that we submit a request with the City for a zoning change for the property.  Our application for the zoning change for the property was introduced at the City Council meeting on 9/12/2023, so we can now share this purchase for a Post home publicly.  There will be a public hearing on item 2023-0592 before the full Council on 9/26/2023.  The property is located on the south side of Old St Augustine Road, across from Whitmore Oaks subdivision (east of Caron Drive).

Several committees have been established for our Post Home project.  If you are interested in being on one of these committees or for information on what each is responsible for, please reach out to the Adjutant ( or general information at  Committees are:

Communication/Community Relations                          Logistics

VA News:  In 2021, the VA added the following presumptive conditions to the exposure to Agent Orange. If you were boots on the ground in Vietnam, and you have been diagnosed with any of these conditions, then you should contact your local Veterans Service Officer and file a claim. Click here for additional information.  Our Post Service Officer can be reached at for assistance.

Camp Lejeune Justice Act Information:  Since the passage of the Camp Lejeune Justice Act there has been mass tort firms all over the country  saturating the airwaves with advertising offering speeding settlements with no strings attached.  However offset rules are being discussed, which means if you are receiving a disability for the recognized disorders or will receive disability payments your VA disability, it may be offset by the amount of the settlement you receive.  The law firm of Bergmann & Moore works together with the American Legion to provide veterans with effective legal representation.  The firm encourages veterans to file a claim for both the Camp Lejeune Justice Act and the VA.  To learn more visit: or call 800-898-9450.
