Please consider sponsoring one of the following programs below that our Post is directly involved in and sponsors. Every dollar that our members and the public donate, is one more dollar available to our building fund from our operating budget.
Meals for our Active-Duty Service Members at NAS Jax
Many of our younger active-duty members struggle to put food on the table and are on SNAP and other government assistance programs. The NAS Jax Chaplain's Office vets all service members in need of assistance. Sadly, their list is growing. This fundraiser's goal of $5000 is to provide a meal at Thanksgiving for 100 service members families. Once that goal is reached, all additional funds will be allocated to purchasing food bags at the commissary which the Chaplain's Office will hand out. Click on DONATE to support our service members.
Veterans Emergency Assistance
We have many veterans in our area that are homeless in need of food or supplies to help them live in the shadows since they will not go to a shelter. There are also local veterans who are severely disabled and low income who need help replacing a broken fridge or stove, or possibly needing their wheelchair ramp replaced. This fund will be available to assist our veterans on a case-by-case basis. Click on DONATE to help our veterans.
Football and Cheerleader Camp
NFL Players and Cheerleaders Alumni Football and Cheerleading Camp happens every June. Post 372 sponsor kids who cannot afford to go to the camp. We normally sponsor kids from the underserved community. We are now working with the NAS Jax chaplain about sending military kids to the camp whose parents are lower level enlisted and can't afford to send their kids. The cost to sponsor one child is only $50. You may sponsor a child or make a general donation to the program. Click on DONATE to sponsor a child.
Williams Family YMCA Programs
Post 372 sponsors three youth programs at the Williams Family YMCA on San Jose Blvd. Pack the Backpacks for school supplies, Trunk or Treat, and Healthy Kids. You may make a general donation for the Backpack and Trunk or Treat to purchase the items. You may also donate one of the four bikes that we will give away. Click on DONATE to support the programs.
